Gone with the Wind

While picking up the kids from school on this blustery day, I overheard two women having a shouted conversation in the parking lot:

Mom 1 "BOY! IT SURE IS WINDY TODAY!"

Mom 2: "WHAT?"

Mom 1: " I SAID, BOY, IT SURE IS WINDY TODAY!"

Mom 2: "I CAN'T HEAR YOU! IT'S TOO WINDY!"

Same here, Grumpy, same here.

I'm in the middle (at a corner actually) of a horseshoe shaped building and the whirling dervishes were maddening!

considering the many personalized misconceptions in conversation, it is amazing we communicate , excluding windyness.

Well afterall it is March.

Myself, I love windy days, especially those of March, there is the hint of warmth in the air,in constant battle with the hint of lingering cold. It was 72 degrees here yesterday, this morning it was 40.
