This reminds me of a book called, "What's the Number for 911?" It was hilarious, shocking, and a bit sad, actually.

There are idiots in this world. I hope he got a hefty fine for that!
Ah, the amazing reasons people call 911. My Better Half is in law enforcement and works in a city where every job dispatched must be responded to. And the call takers are not permitted to say "It is not a police matter if your child will not do his homework/if you need to get the cat out of grandma's room because she's allergic/etc. etc. etc." and hang up.
